Bloomex Reports Best Ever Holiday Season in Canada and Australia
Bloomex Canada and Bloomex Australia are heading into 2014 with strong momentum, having recorded their highest volume of web traffic and sales for a holiday period in company history during the 2013 Christmas Season.
Ottawa (I-Newswire) January 15, 2014 - Bloomex (www.bloomex.ca), a leading online florist in Canada and Australia, announced today that the recent 2013 holiday season was its most successful since the company's founding in 2005.
The company recorded record sales for the month of December, fuelled by the popularity of its line of gourmet gift baskets and Christmas-themed flower bouquets. For December -- as well as the year as a whole -- traffic to bloomex.ca was up from 2012 and sales followed suit.

Bloomex has already started preparation for the next major seasonal push, with Valentine's Day fast approaching on February 14. The annual celebration of love is a boon to florists and it is always the busiest time of year for the company in terms of web traffic and sales.
