(I-Newswire) September 9, 2010 - Bling My Bra 2010 is the second annual series of eBay Giving Works charity auctions held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). The eBay auctions feature handcrafted one-of-a-kind themed art bras. All proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, global leader of the breast cancer awareness movement.

And Bling My Bra needs bras! It's time to get those creative juices flowing. October will be here before we know it, so here's how it works:

1) Think of your idea — crazy, artsy, wild or mild —we want your blinged bra! Maybe you've got a favorite hobby, a special interest, or just a creative bent.

2) Put your idea into motion and make that bra! You can craft it using a ready-made bra, or make it from scratch if you prefer. Bling My Bra can't happen without all of the wonderful people who volunteer to submit their bras!

3) Bras must be received by October 1st. That's plenty of time if you start now! All bra artists/designers will be featured in our eBay store pages, so this is a great opportunity for some free publicity for your website or eBay store. You will be glad you were a part of supporting this important cause.

Last year, Bling My Bra 2009 raised more than $3,000 for breast cancer awareness and research. This year, we hope to double that: $6,000. But we can only do it with your wonderful bras and bids!
