Blackeye Fightwear Adds Two Talented Canadian MMA Fighters To Their Sponsorship Roster

Blackeye Fightwear Inc., adds to its roster of sponsored MMA fighters with the signing of two BC-based mixed martial artists

Toronto (I-Newswire) October 6, 2011 - Toronto ON - Blackeye Fightwear Inc., has announced the sponsorships of two Canadian-based mixed martial artists: Welterweight Ryan Chiappe (record: 8-6) and Lightweight Dan Ring (record: 3-0-1). Both fighters are scheduled to compete on the Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) 31 card on October 7th at Edmonton’s Mayfield Trade Centre.

“Blackeye Fightwear is committed to supporting the sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and the growth and development of MMA athletes from the amateur to the professional ranks. MFC 31 will be “Ruthless” Ryan Chiappe’s debut with the promotion. Fighting out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Chiappe has won 4 of his last 5 fights with 6 of his 8 wins coming by way of knockout. Chiappe’s fast-paced approach has been augmented with a training camp designed to refine his technique. “I am excited for the opportunity to have Blackeye Fightwear behind me on this journey as I walk the road to the Maximum Fighting Championship Welterweight Title. Having the chance to fight live on HDNet and to be shown on TSN, is an opportunity I am not willing to let slip by”, said Chiappe.

Dan Ring, also fighting out of Vancouver, Canada, is riding a 3 fight winning streak that he plans on making 4. "This is my second chance to show what I can do on a national stage, and with 1 win already in my pocket here in the MFC I am excited for the prospect of landing on the HDNet and TSN portions in January 2012.
