BHM Healthcare Solutions, a national URAC-Accredited Independent Review Organization is continuing to expand its services, and currently has a need for Orthopedic Surgeons licensed in the state of Florida. This position is part of an ongoing expansion of BHM's Physician Advisor / Peer Reviewer Network. Through remote access to our web-based Peer Review System Portal, physician advisors complete clinical reviews of internal review cases for medical necessity, treatment of appropriateness or administrative compliance. This position is a remote/work from home and part time position.
Qualifications
• Applicant must have current, non-restricted licensure or certification as required for clinical practice in the State of Florida
• Must have at least five (5) years full-time equivalent experience providing direct patient care.
• Have a board certification by a medical specialty board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) specializing in Orthopedic Surgery.
