Benefit Dinner for Theatre Company

Margaritas, Tex-Mex, and a Great Cause! Come, eat dinner, and be merry!

New York, NY (I-Newswire) August 8, 2011 - Everyone has to eat. Why not treat yourself to a fun, Tex-Mex style dinner while knowing that you are supporting a great philanthropic, cause? You can even use the cost of your dinner as a tax write-off!

Chevy’s is committed to giving back to the community by hosting dinner events in which they give back to not-for-profit organizations. That is what they have agreed to do for Ripple Effect Productions!

This informal dinner event in Times Square will be donating a percentage of the revenue spent by our guests back to our theatre company. Guests can attend with any friends, family, or business associates they choose to bring with them, order whatever delicious food and delightful drinks they like, and know that a 25% of the cost of their meal is going towards a great company!

Ripple Effect is out to make a difference through its theatrical works. The next project will be a philanthropic production addressing gay rights--5% of the ticket revenue from this show will be donated to a local gay rights organization. Those who attend this Benefit can be added to the mailing list and will have a special invitation to this production.

Many other artistic professionals (such as musicians, other actors, singers, poets, illustrators, designers, and writers) should be attending this meal. This can be a phenomenal networking event for people in the arts or people wanting to break into the arts.

There is no entry fee. Isn’t that rare for a fundraiser? Order whatever you want and feel great about it too! Be sure to mention at the door that you are attending the fundraiser event. Mentioning the name “Jessie” or “Johnny” will help. Any food or beverage purchase you make is tax-deductible because you are supporting a not-for-profit company.

EVERYBODY WINS!

Date: August 18th (Thursday)
Place: Chevy's on 42nd and 8th Ave.
Time: 7pm-11pm.
Dress: Casual
