BE Fashion Week Hits Vancouver To Recruit Canadian Designers For Runway Event

Las Vegas (I-Newswire) December 16, 2011 - Vancouver, BC - It was announced today that the Marketing Director for Belle Époque Fashion Week will be heading to Vancouver, BC this week to promote the kickoff of the event’s first year in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada on May 14-19th, 2012.

“Belle Époque Fashion Week is a high-profile fashion show event featuring the Spring/Summer collections of established and emerging Designers from all over the world,” explains Caitlin Gillespie, Marketing Director of Belle Époque Fashion Week. “The tented event will allow Designers to have the opportunity to showcase their lines to buyers, the press, media, customers & key industry professionals at a fashionably chic yet reasonably priced venue.”

While in Vancouver, Caitlin will be looking for Designers, media, press, Industry professionals, sponsors and fashion-related writers and bloggers to be a part of the glitz and glam of Belle Époque Fashion Week and to join in on the runway shows and after-parties that will set the tone for what’s to come for Fashion in Las Vegas.

“It is important for me reach out to Canadian Designers and publications to get them involved in BE Fashion Week,” says Caitlin, “I grew up in Vancouver and I have seen the breadth of talent that exists in Canada. Vancouver is a great city and it feels good to continue supporting the community there.”

This event will be the first of it's kind in Las Vegas as the scene for fashion, arts and culture continues to grow downtown and on the strip. Las Vegas has so much more to offer than what visitors see in a weekend!
