Al Rivett, Candidate for St. Lucie County Commissioner hosts a BBQ Fundraiser

(I-Newswire) June 6, 2010 - June 4, 2010, PORT ST. LUCIE, FL, USA – A campaign fund raiser will be held for Al Rivett at Charles Ray Park in Port St. Lucie on Sunday, June 13 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The minimum suggested donation is $25 per person or $50 per family. Bounce Houses and playground will be available for children.

Al Rivett, an economic developer for Port St. Lucie for the past 24 years, is campaigning as a Republican to represent St. Lucie County as County Commissioner for District 4. “My economic development/job creation experience, and my community knowledge and contacts make me uniquely qualified to address the needs of our residents,” says Rivett. Rivett’s accomplishments include the creation of hundreds of jobs, development of job creation/economic development incentives, securing job creation and housing grants, and lobbying for local projects in Tallahassee and Washington. “With nearly 15% of Port St. Lucie’s workforce unemployed, job creation and economic development must be our number one priority,” states Rivett.

Rivett promises plenty of BBQ and fun at the June 13th event. Rivett will address the crowd of supporters about ways to increase jobs in St. Lucie County.
