Baume And Mercier : New CEO

Geneve (I-Newswire) November 21, 2011 - Alain Zimmermann is the very well known and experienced CEO of Baume and Mercier (part of the Richemont Group).

He was in Dubaï on 18th October 2011 in order to inaugurate the Baume and Mercier boutique that has been redesigned. The challenge loving CEO hosted the ceremony.

Alain Zimmermann is used to luxury industry since he has a great experience of managerial responsabilities within the Richemont Group and the Swiss Private Banking Group, Julius Bär bank.

His experience is in various fields but always in the luxury products. So,thanks to his experience in sales, marketing and communications Alain Zimmermann was able to organize a wonderful inauguration ceremony.The last one really amazed and pleased every guest.

This event took place in Armani Hotel. The new Baume and Mercier boutique is situated in the Watches and Jewellery section of the Dubaï Mall. This unique boutique immerse you into the real Hampton’s universe.

What is Alain Zimmerman’s professional experience ?
He was appointed CEO of Baume and Mercier in September 2009. The luxury goods Richemont Group did not appoint anyone to such a challenging job. They chose a man of considerable experience of the luxury industry.

Alain Zimmerman started his career with l’Oreal Group in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1989.

After five years he entered the Richemont Group in its Cartier brand in Munich, Germany.There he held different positions in the Marketing Department and came back to Paris when he ended International Development Director for the Fragrances of Cartier.

From 2002 to 2004 he was appointed Area sales Manager for Asia, Middle East and Switzerland. He was still working for the Richmont Group but for the IWC brand.
