BackupAgent and Citrix Announce Partnership for Delivering Cloud Backup to Service Providers

BackupAgent, the leading provider of cloud backup software for service providers, and Citrix today announced their partnership for the delivery of cloud backup through the Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager to service providers worldwide.

BackupAgent, the leading provider of cloud backup software for service providers, and Citrix today announced their partnership for the delivery of cloud backup through the Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager to service providers worldwide. As part of this announcement BackupAgent has joined the Citrix Ready Program and completed verification testing of its Cloud Backup Platform for Service Providers with Citrix, thereby providing confidence in the compatibility of the joint solution.

Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager helps service providers manage the delivery of cloud services and offerings to their customers. CloudPortal Services Manager v10 now offers integration with BackupAgent enabling all service providers to add cloud backup to their service catalog and activate the backup services for their customers in seconds with just a few mouse clicks.

With BackupAgent’s cloud backup software, service providers can offer their customers automated cloud backup with several interesting features, such as backup of Microsoft Outlook, IE Favorites, and Windows System state. It also comprises advanced backup of Microsoft Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
