Avazoo Delays Launch of Billion Dollar Raffle

Avazoo Corp has announced the delay in launching the global Billion Dollar Raffle until the new year in line with its policy of promoting responsible gaming.

Avazoo Corp announced today that they have delayed the official launch of the worldwide Billion Dollar Raffle until early January as part of their "responsible Gaming" policy. The company had originally planned to begin ticket sales on November 5th 2011 but have delayed until after the Christmas and New Year Holidays to ensure that no family is at risk of their budget being stretched by purchase of the raffle tickets.

A spokesperson for the company explains: "Avazoo is committed to a policy that promotes responsible gaming which is why we have limited the sale of only one ticket to each person for the Billion Dollar Raffle. However, we were concerned that the excitement of the world's biggest prize draw may take money out of the family budget that may have otherwise be spent on presents and treats for children at Christmas which would not be right. By delaying the launch until January we can be sure that holiday spending is not affected by the purchase of tickets."

Avazoo has recently been issued their first internet gaming license, clearing the way for the company to launch the world's first Billion Dollar Raffle. This global event will make one lucky winner a Billionaire, more than 100 people Millionaires, and 1 in 3 ticket holders winning a cash prize with 40% of net revenue of the company being donated to projects that support the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and other worthy charitable causes.

The Billion Dollar Raffle offers a first prize of $1 billion, a unique 1 in 3 chance of winning a cash prize, the ability to earn free entries, opportunities to win fabulous monthly prizes, and at the same time contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to worthy charitable causes, including those that support the United Nations MDG's. The 12 month worldwide marketing event, which was projected to launch in November 2011, will culminate in the grand prize draw event in November 2012.

Managing Director of Avazoo, Harvey McGehee said; "We have been working for almost 6 years putting this project together and although we are keen to launch, postponing until January is the right thing to do. It would be irresponsible of us to ask people to support worthy charitable causes by purchasing an entry into the Billion Dollar Raffle that would possibly take money out of the family budget that they would otherwise need to spend on their children during this time of year. Avazoo Corp prides itself on being a socially aware company and being conscious of the difficulties that many in the world are facing and delaying the launch of the Billion Dollar Raffle is a demonstration of our commitment to people around the world."

The Billion Dollar Raffle is now set to officially launch in early January 2012 when consumers across the globe will be able to purchase their raffle tickets. However, the company is already allowing people to pre-register for information through their website at www.Avazoo.com and those who register for free before the official launch will be given a chance to win one of almost 100 cash prizes totaling $10 million. Those who register on the Avazoo website will be entered to win one of the cash prizes regardless of whether or not the person buys a ticket for the Billion Dollar Raffle draw when they go on sale at the official launch.

Avazoo expects the world's biggest cash payout to attract tens of millions of players as well as unparalleled media coverage from around the world, and has limited ticket sales in the first Billion Dollar Raffle to just 30 million tickets. They have planned a global advertising and marketing campaign to attract ticket sales using television, print, billboards, internet, and all other available media which will also carry the names of their sponsors and advertising partners. They promise that it will be a campaign that reaches every household in dozens of countries on all continents.

The thought that someone will win $1,000,000,000 is sure to capture the imagination of millions of eager players around the globe, especially those who regularly play the lottery or participate in other gaming activities.

Avazoo is strongly committed to working as a "Sustainable" corporation. It has fully adopted a management model that incorporates Financial, Social, and Ecological values. Avazoo is committed to supporting the achievement of all of the UN Millennium Development Goals and other worthy charitable causes, and provides a great vehicle for the World's peoples to contribute and support that effort, while enjoying themselves and having fun playing the game at the same time.
