Yarbrough, author of the new and acclaimed adventure novel, Mississippi Cotton, will be holding a book signing in Memphis, TN on December 17th from 1 pm to 2 pm at Booksellers at Laurelwood, 387 Perkins Extended, Memphis, TN 38117. Yarbrough will also hold a book reading and signing the same day from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at The Memphis Cotton Museum 65 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103. Mississippi Cotton, Yarbrough’s debut book brings to light the complex history of rural Mississippi in the 1950’s. It follows a young boy named Jake Conner on his adventure through the Mississippi Delta in 1951. Many readers will be able to relate to Jake’s summer vacation, “but his gets a little more adventurous as he and his cousins snoop around in a mystery that is better left to the grown-ups,” says Yarbrough. The book has drawn critical acclaim from across the country.
