Austria Gets Ready for More Ski Tourists

(I-Newswire) November 17, 2009 - The Austrian provincial capitals will receive snowfalls earlier than normal. The Vienna based ZAMG has said that the Austrian cities of Innsbruck, Salzburg and St. Polten are expected to receive the earliest ever snowfall this year.

This can also possibly lead to avalanches in various low lying areas in Austria. Such avalanches often cause danger to nearby households and tourists. Claims have been made mandatory for vehicles in various places in Vorarlberg.

The previous record was set in the year 2007 but that record is set to be broken this year. Many places have already experienced the highest temperatures in many years. This is being seen as a major effect of Global warming. ZAMG has already warned about the early snow and the damage it can cause.

Increased snow in Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg, Austria has brought in more tourists. This place is made up of various beautiful villages.
