August 6-8, 2010, Miracle Temple will host the first "Man UP" Men's Conference

(I-Newswire) June 7, 2010 - The Miracle Temple Church in conjunction with the Allegheny East Conference Family Life Department will hold their first ever Men’s Conference entitled “MAN UP”. The purpose of the men’s conference is to challenge men to rise up to the level of their calling as responsible fathers, leaders, and husbands.

On Friday, August 6-8, 2010, men of all ages from across the Baltimore metropolitan area are invited to Miracle Temple Church, Baltimore, MD for a weekend of prayer, motivational speakers and fellowship. At this conference men will be encouraged and empowered to re-engage in their communities, to stand in defense of family and to protect those most vulnerable. Men will leave this conference renewed, revitalized and refreshed understanding that they are Male By Birth…Man by Choice!

We want to share with you the opportunity for men to be involved in this event that will bring them closer to Christ and inspire them to disciple other men. The family is the basic building block of society, and as men we are called to love and lead our families in faith amidst an increasingly secular and hostile culture. This conference reminds us of the importance that in our common mission we are called to Stand Up! Man Up to support and strengthen each other.

Our key presenter is Clifton Davis, actor from Amen and co-founder of Welcome Christian Center in Huntington Beach, CA. Other presenters at the conference will be Dr. John Trusty, Director of Family Life Ministries for the Allegheny East Conference, Pastor Joel “Joey” Kibble from Take 6 and Pastor E. T. Stoddart, Senior Pastor of the Miracle Temple SDA Church and TV Pastor for The Encounter w/ E. T. Stoddart. This 3-day event will begin Friday at 7pm, and will continue all day Saturday from 9:30 A.M. 6:00 P.M. Our final presentation is from 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, speakers will present discussions on various topics followed by break-sessions. Lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.
