Attorney Bernadette Marshall To Run For Judge In Cuyahoga County Ohio's Domestic Relations Court System

Ohio attorney Bernadette (Bernie) Marshall has thrown her hat into the running in Cuyahoga County Ohio for Domestic Relations Court Judge Unexpired Term Ending (UTE) January 7, 2015.

Born in Edinburgh Scotland on June 6, 1952, she moved to the U.S. in 1957. Following her 1970 graduation from Cleveland Hts. High School in Ohio she returned to Europe to study at London University in England and Stockholm University in Sweden. Upon returning to the United States in 1972 she enrolled at Manchester College, Indiana with further studies at Case Western Reserve University's Nursing Program in Ohio. Moving forward, she obtained her U.S. citizenship in 1975 and went on to Kent State University Ohio where she received her BA in Psychology in 1977. A Master's degree from Cleveland State University Ohio in Public Administration in 1982 was followed up with a Juris Doctorate in 1985 from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

Bernadette is currently owner of the Marshall Law Co. located in Cleveland, Ohio. She has has an exemplary record and has exclusively practiced Family Law within the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court system for approx. 25 years.

Bernadette wishes to be elected so that she can provide fair, just, equitable solutions to individuals who are experiencing the legalities of divorce. She is interested in protecting the safety, mental, emotional & physical well-being of children in divorce situations by rendering impartial decisions from the bench. If elected, Bernadette would like to create a judicial environment that provides expeditious relief and outcome by moving cases through the process in a timely, professional manner.
