(I-Newswire) February 20, 2013 - Dan Murray, vice president of research for the American Transportation Research Institute, (ATRI), will be the keynote speaker to kick off the Pegasus TransTech Users Conference in Safety Harbor, Fla. to be held on April 17 and 18. Murray oversees research initiatives for the ATRI, the not-for-profit research arm of the trucking industry.

As vice president of research for ATRI, Murray is responsible for conducting objective research, analysis and evaluation on a range of freight transportation issues relating to freight economics, safety, technology and the environment. He has served as project manager on transportation research sponsored by multiple local, state and federal agencies. Murray’s keynote speech will highlight the latest trucking industry research with special focus on technology advancements.
