The Maryland SPCA 15th annual March For The Animals was a successful event.

(I-Newswire) April 28, 2010 - The Atlantic Remodeling Corporation proudly sponsored the SPCA March For The Animals this past Sunday at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore. The event brought thousands of animal lovers out for a wonderful cause. It was a fun-packed day of demonstrations, great contests, entertainment and the 1.5-mile walk to benefit the Maryland SPCA. This was the 15th year for the March, and it managed to raise more than $350,000 this time around. The Maryland SPCA is one of the nation’s oldest animal welfare organizations, founded in 1869 by a group of Baltimore citizens who were concerned about the welfare of the City’s work horses. The Maryland SPCA adoption center adopts out over 3,000 needy and unwanted pets each year and receives no government funding.
