Assisted Living Englewood Residents Plan To Attend Several Local Events In December

11th Annual Breakfast with Santa

The 11th Annual Breakfast with Santa is sponsored by the Broomfield Lions Club and it is scheduled on December 1, 2012 from 8.00 AM to 12.00 PM at the Lakeshore Room in Broomfield. This free event is not only for the seniors residing in assisted living Englewood and other Lighthouse Assisted Living homes in Centennial and Littleton but even the family members of the elders will be able to join them in this annual breakfast with Santa. The resident of the homes will be getting their pictures taken, they will tell Santa their wishes for Christmas, and enjoy the pastries, fruits, and drinks served in this breakfast.

Medicare Colorado Community Meetings

The regular Medicare Colorado Community Meetings are highly educational for the residents of assisted living Englewood and other homes in Centennial and Littleton. The next meeting of Medicare Colorado is on December 3, 2012 between 10.00 AM and 11.30 AM at Koelbel Library, 5955 South Holly Street, Centennial, CO 80121. The seniors will be able to learn about changes to the 2013 Medicare plans. They will get answers to their questions regarding Medicare Advantage, Medicate Supplement Plans, and Part D coverage at the upcoming meeting. The meeting will provide answers to the various questions on Medicare as well as the various Medicare options.

Trust Administration and Probate

Ambler & Keenan LLC will be conducting a Trust Administration and Probate seminar on December 18, 2012 between 12-00 PM and 1-00 PM at Virginia Village Library, 1500 S. Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80222. This presentation will be a continuing education class. This class will review how trusts or the probate systems are helpful in transferring assets after death of an individual. Beth Mitchell will be reviewing the necessary steps in initiating a probate, transferring the assets, and closing the probate. She will also be reviewing how the seniors can protect their beneficiaries, the actual use of a trust protector, and the effect of HIPAA documents on trustee succession.
