Asheville NC Family Dentist Practice Supports Free Dental Program Of NCMOM

The Saunders DDS family dentist office located in Asheville, North Carolina takes part in free dental care program of The North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM).

Asheville,NC (I-Newswire) November 28, 2012 - As an active participant of The North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM), Saunders D.D.S supports a free dental program sponsored by the North Carolina Dental Health Fund and dedicated to help the community members with financial difficulty maintain their dental health. NCMOM dental services are provided to adults with income less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines for the 48 contiguous states and Washington D.C.

Dr. Steven Saunders, a founder of Saunders D.D.S.—a family dentist practice located in Asheville, NC—and a planning committee board member of NCMOM says, “All patients at The North Carolina Missions of Mercy project (NCMOM) are examined by a licensed dentist to determine the most critical dental needs. Based on the examination, tooth removal, tooth fillings or teeth cleaning can be performed.

In August 2012 a two day dental clinic set up by the North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM) on the campus of Asheville’s A-B Tech serviced approximately 1,000 North Carolinians with procedures such as tooth cleanings, x-rays, fillings, partials, and extractions.
