Engineering colleges in India have started adopting anti-ragging measures in full swing as first year classes got underway this week in several institutes. Every year, as college authorities implement time-tested techniques to prevent ragging, senior students initiate and participate in the anti-ragging drive. From holding street plays to screening short films and conducting poster campaigns, the senior students in premium engineering students as Arya, are all set to give the right notion to their juniors.

The Entrepreneurship cell at Arya, aims to enable our students generate income through business activities, empower them by skill development trainings and awareness-building programs and reduce gender discrimination through development of women leadership. The group organizes awareness camps and Entrepreneurship Development Programs, both within and outside the campus for the benefit of our students. The college guides and assists prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, loans and facilities from agencies of support system, information on technologies, etc. Besides, arranging visits to industries for exposure and on the job training and conducting various skill development training programs leading to self- employment, conduct research work and survey for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities for our students are some of the functions taken care at the institute.
