Artists Dreams Gallery in Cape Coral, FL Grand Opening

Cape Coral, FL (I-Newswire) November 16, 2011 - Artists’ Dreams Gallery in Downtown Cape Coral will be celebrating their grand opening with a three day event starting Thursday, December 1st, 2011. The official grand opening celebration will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00pm hosted by the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce. A reception will immediately follow the ribbon cutting and go until 8pm. The reception will feature refreshments and meet and greet with the artists showcased at the gallery. Local radio station, Sunny 106 will be doing a live broadcast in front of the gallery during the reception.

The grand opening celebration continues Friday and Saturday with artist demonstrations leading up to the Festival of Lights Celebration in downtown Cape Coral on the December 3rd. On Friday, December 2nd Painter Patty Sole will be demonstrating from 10am to 2pm. Following Sole will be Florene. She will be holding an interactive tutorial on photography and lens art from 3pm to 5pm. On Saturday, December 3rd Rick Aliperti will be “throwing clay” with a pottery wheel demonstration from 10am to 2pm. Following Aliperti will be Ann Riordan. She will be demonstrating watercolor, charcoal, pen and ink techniques from 3pm to 5pm.

The Grand Opening celebration will continue during the annual Festival of Lights in Downtown Cape Coral on Saturday night. The gallery will be open for residents to enjoy the art showcased, meet and greet with local artist and Painter Gregg Ehmann will be working on his latest addition to his collection. The Gallery will offer light refreshments during the Holiday Festival of Lights.

Artists’ Dreams Gallery will feature fine art, paintings, jewelry, metal sculpture, pottery, wood carving, photography, stained glass and wood turning. The owners, Dee Frank and Kathlyn Reeves, are thrilled to have their gallery open in Cape Coral, Florida. Artists’ Dreams Gallery hosts monthly artist’s receptions every third Friday of the Month in conjunction with the Nights on the Parkway event put on by SCUBA (South Cape Unified Business Association). Cape Coral residents are encouraged to come down and see what new art the gallery is featuring. Frank said, “These receptions are an opportunity for artist’s to speak with the public about what inspires them and what individual pieces mean to them. This makes the art more special for the person who purchases and enjoys the piece at home.”

Artists’ Dreams Gallery will also be showcasing student art and also have a monthly featured artist. Frank said, “We want to keep the art fresh and interesting for our clientele. Not only will we be featuring a different artist each month we will add new work from our contracted artists on a regular basis.”
