Arcplan's 20th Anniversary Conference Arc|twenty Highlights Business Intelligence Trends

Talks by arcplan users and partners on opportunities and innovations in the BI market enlighten 250 international participants

Two decades in the business intelligence (BI) industry and with arcplan 8 - an entirely new version of its popular platform - just launched: Reason enough for international software provider arcplan to celebrate. At the beginning of October, 250 partners, customers and prospects from all over the globe came together for arcplan's 20th anniversary user and partner conference arc|twenty in Düsseldorf, Germany. In accordance with the theme "Information & Celebration," they learned from peers about the competitive benefits that can be derived from implementing BI as well as the latest trends and developments in the industry. At the same time, the focus of the event was of course on arcplan's latest release which addresses the need for flexible, easy to use mobile BI in particular.

arcplan 8 was presented for the first time to a wide audience at the arc|twenty event, impressing both partners and customers alike. Thanks to Responsive Design and HTML5, the solution enables device-independent access and huge cost savings for developers. In this time of continuous mobile device innovation, BYOD policies, and increasingly complex business requirements, arcplan 8 is a simple, intuitive BI solution that represents a secure investment for the future.

The launch of the new release was supported by more than thirty top-notch talks by arcplan employees, partners and customers, including Deichmann, Lufthansa, Mars, Roche and OBI. Attendees received exclusive information on topics like mobile BI, self-service analytics, Responsive Design and DORA ("Design Once, Run Anywhere"), a concept that enables arcplan users to implement reporting and planning applications that are optimized for any mobile device and operating system.

Awards for outstanding partnerships

A further highlight of the event was the partner awards ceremony. arcplan's "Business Development" award went to Sapindigo from the Netherlands. Korean partner Zalesia took home the award for "Innovation," while the award for the "Planning and Budgeting" category went to Partake Consulting from Germany. The prizes, which have been awarded to outstanding partners for several years, are a sign of the BI provider's esteem for its partners, who sell arcplan's software products worldwide.
