The indented reveal coping profile shape was designed to meet the architectural desire to add visual depth to the parapet edge, where the building meets the sky.
Shadowline Coping has been tested and classified by Underwriters Laboratory to meet the ANSI/SPRI ES-1 Roof Edge Standard as required by the International Building Code. Hickman Shadowline Coping is available in .050” or .063” aluminum or 24 gauge galvanized steel with Kynar coating in a variety of standard or custom colors. Additional custom metals or finishes are also available. The W. P. Hickman Company provides their 20-Year Excel Warranty for wind speeds up to 110 mph for the Shadowline Coping system.
Shadowline Coping is a snap-on system allowing for easy installation, concealed fasteners, and full thermal cycle movement at each expansion joint without compromising perimeter roof integrity. The cleats are 20-Gauge galvanized steel for strong uplift performance and are pre-punched with slotted holes and fasteners are supplied for proper attachment and expedited installation. Factory fabricated corners, end caps, and accessories are available as part of the system, and Shadowline Coping can be fabricated in fully welded radiuses to fit curved or arched walls.
