Apple Visual Graphic’s Now Manufactures Books For Fabric Swatches

Long Island City, New York (I-Newswire) December 9, 2011 - Apple Visual Graphics now prints, cuts and fabricates complete swatch cards and books. Everyone knows packaging is one of the best marketing tools and this holds true for swatch books. Until recently, many fabric companies have been utilizing the services of swatch manufacturers who act as an intermediary between clients and print houses to fabricate swatch cards. These manufacturers cut the material to size and then glue them onto corresponding cards which have been provided by the client preferred printer. Many swatch manufacturers have begun to print collateral in house but lack full CMYK capabilities.

Apple Visual Graphics used eco-friendly, soy based inks to print this almost 48 inch long swatch card booklet. To do this, two 24” panels were scored, folded and glued together. The fabric provided by Michael Miller Fabrics, LLC was cut down, collated and glued into the work. As a finishing touch, holes were drilled in the front cover and ribbon was then tied around the book as a closure with a bow. A project of this scope required incredible attention to detail with many aspects being performed by hand for perfection.
