Appeals Court Reverses Landmark Receivership Decision
Millions of dollars in assets were wrongfully seized, and a former tech CEO was personally put into an unprecedented human receivership.
Online, January 27, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Jeff Baron is the former owner of domain-driven Onodva, LLC. After founding a philanthropic research trust to cure juvenile diabetes with his assets, Baron's relationship with his former partner turned sour. This turn of events has led to Baron's assets, and Baron himself, being forcibly placed into receivership. The Federal Court of Appeals disagrees with the rulings and has since overturned the receivership.
