Apollo Smart Makes Its World Debut In Belfast, Northern Ireland

Dundalk (I-Newswire) October 15, 2011 - Dunraven Systems Limited, manufacturers of Apollo ultrasonic oil level monitors, has officially launched the company’s revolutionary Apollo Smart Heating Oil Energy Monitor at the Northern Ireland Plumbing & Heating Show.

Designed specifically for domestic oil heating installations, Apollo Smart is the world's first heating oil energy monitor. Previewed at FPS EXPO earlier this year, Apollo Smart builds upon the success of the company's long established and market-leading range of Apollo branded oil level monitors.

Unlike traditional domestic oil tank content gauges, Apollo Smart displays the level of fuel remaining in both litres and as a percentage of tank volume. It also allows consumers to monitor actual heating oil usage in litres, CO2 emissions and energy costs in Sterling or Euros.

Recognising the importance of ensuring consumers do not run out of oil, Apollo Smart also incorporates a unique 'Days to Empty' function, which cleverly calculates how many days supply of heating oil remains. The risk of running out of fuel is reduced further still by an on-screen bar graph display, together with audible and visual low level warnings.

Apollo Smart’s powerful processor and onboard storage, retains consumption, cost and emissions data for up to 12 months – allowing heating oil users to monitor long terms cost, consumption and usage trends. Inbuilt USB connectivity also allows users to upload stored data to almost any Mac or PC, via the optional Apollo Smart App, scheduled for release shortly.
