AnswerFirst Answering Service Attends South Tampa Chamber AM Coffee Event

Tampa, FL (I-Newswire) August 3, 2011 - AnswerFirst Communications, an international live telephone answering service and customer service solutions company specializing in answering services, messaging services, virtual receptionist and call center solutions, announced this week that they attended the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce AM Coffee Event at the Tampa Elks Lodge.

The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce (STCOC) AM Coffee Event is a complimentary breakfast meeting held for all members of STCOC and their guests. Breakfast was served by the Elks of Tampa at the Elks Lodge and attendees were asked to bring an item to donate for a Back to School Drive for local children. The Tampa Elks Lodge was established in 1902 and the Elks have a long history of service in the Tampa Bay community and across the nation. They actively provide free outreach programs to the Youth of Tampa Bay, the Veterans at James A. Haley VA Hospital, the Athena House (for homeless women veterans) and they sponsor the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County. Their state and national projects include a 385 acre, top-rated summer camp in Umatilla, Florida where many under-privileged children are sponsored by lodges throughout the country each year.

According to their website, the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is a strong networking organization, that offers numerous networking events each month, and provides members with support for each other in their “Remember a Member” program. The Chamber maintains that community service differentiates them from other chambers and also serves as a cornerstone of their organization; they believe that there is a unique opportunity to “give back” to the community that has supported them over the years.
