Anoo’s announces expansion plans in South India

(I-Newswire) October 5, 2010 - Anoo’s, South India’s premier beauty care brand has announced plans to add 23 more centers in South India by mid 2011. Anoo’s will take the franchise route for its expansion plans and is in talks with franchising partners to expand its presence in South India.

Various surveys indicate that beauty and wellness industry is slated to grow at 30-35% in the next 5 years, presenting a tremendous opportunity not only in tier-1 cities but also in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Anoo’s has entered the Karimnagar market with the inauguration of its 12th centre in South India. The opening of the center is in continuation to Anoo’s aggressive expansion plan in South India. The targeted cities are Kurnool, Tirupathi and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. In Tamil Nadu, Anoo’s is looking at setting up presence in Pondicherry, Salem and Trichy. Areas like Adyar, Alwarpet, Annanagar, Mylapore, Kilpauk in Chennai has also been identified.

A total of 7 facilities has been earmarked in different areas in Bangalore like Basavanagudi, Jaya Nagar, JP Nagar, Malleshwaram, Rajaji Nagar, Vijay Nagar Colony, Whitefileds.

Anoo’s will also bring its services for the first time for people living in Bellary, Gulbarga, Hasan, Hubli and Shimoga.
Requirement from Franchisees include a minimum of 2500 sq.ft and an investment of Rs. 40-60 lakhs .
