Folder Password Expert works under Windows 7, Vista, XP, NT, ME, 98.

Folder Password Expert is designed for home and corporate users who would like to prevent others from messing up with their documents. A distinguishing feature of the program is its wizard-style interface allowing even beginners to set passwords for their folders without reading the manual.

Folder Password Expert can lock folders on internal drives, external drives (USB drives, flash drives, pen drives), memory cards, network drives. The user can choose different passwords for folders. When the folder is protected, all the files and subfolders in the folder become inaccessible to all applications including Microsoft Office programs and Windows Explorer. The password is always required to open protected folders.
