Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Set To Release This Autumn

Google will release a newer version to the Android 4 because of its succes in the market.

Google is planning to launch Android 5 after the resounding success of Android 4. After attaining the status of the most successful smart phone application, Google Inc. is seeking newer horizons. Hiroshi Lockheimer said that they are planning to roll out the next version of the application but are not sure as they are still sorting out things. There are unanswered questions he added pertaining to engineering work and the time of its release.

The vice president of engineering further added that the timing isn't what matters most to the company, but it is the enthusiasm with which people receive the innovation.

At the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, various software companies are exhibiting solutions that will prevent compromising of corporate data while employees make use of their personal phones for work. Samsung the leading manufacturer of Android phones believes that helping reduce this risk will help it to leave behind Apple Inc.

Lockheimer further acknowledged the frustration that users expressed over the upgrades of Ice Cream Sandwich, but he also added that the alliance this year is definitely going to strike a difference. They are trying to enhance the upgrade process and make it smoother.

Moreover at Barcelona, Mobile World Congress, Rubin Andy remarked that the scene where Apple's iPad has overtaken Android might change soon.

The latest Android application will have power and simplicity side by side as hinted the vice president. These features he said would satisfy both savvy as well as novice users.

Talking about the growing concerns of Android's plan to acquire Motorola Mobility last year, Google's executive chairman Eric Schmidt said that all they needed was a strong competition among all Android players, and that they would not practice favoritism. Recently Rubin revealed on his page that each day there are 850,000 Android based phones that are being activated. Thus since the platform was launched, users have activated 300 million Android phones.
