San Diego, CA, FREE admission. Celebrate being American with a fun-filled festival at Embarcadero Park North in San Diego, CA on October 30. The Saturday before the general election you are invited to “Talk Politics over a Microbrew.” The event will feature a hotdog eating competition, a classic car show presented by the Classic Chevy Car Club of San Diego, live music with Statik High, East of Echo and Subliminal Trip and American exhibitors.
For kids, the event will offer the opportunity to meet American legends including Abraham Lincoln and others who will be available for photos. Other kids’ activities include a ring toss, marble completion, jacks and much more.

The American Festival is a benefit for PhotoCharity. It is presented by Moss Grills and American Business Expo.
Photocharity, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for The Storefront, a program of San Diego Youth & Community Services. The Storefront is a 20-bed emergency night shelter; the only one in San Diego County specifically designed for homeless, runaway, and “street” youth. Every night in San Diego County, an estimated 2,000 youth, ages 12 to 17, live on the streets or in parks and abandoned automobiles.

Moss Grills, has created several styles of grills to fit your needs. The 55 gallon grill is ideal for cooking in three different styles and perfect for catering outdoor events. Moss Grills has also crafted the first ever seen “One-hundred and ten gallon” grill all in one!! The American Business Expo (ABE) is a 2011 event that aims to Inspire, Empower and Recognize American culture and business. ABE will serve American businesses through providing the opportunity to network with other business owners, investors and government officials. The event will feature workshops, speakers and mixer events targeted at revitalizing American businesses and exports as well as the American Dream.

(e3cho) project will be organizing the recycling efforts at the American Festival to promote waste reduction and resource conservation.

California Solar Innovation and Stafford Solar Power will be sponsoring the electrical energy that will power the event by utilizing clean energy from the SUN.
