American College of Healthcare Sciences Approved to Participate in Title IV Federal Student Aid Programs

American College of Healthcare Sciences announced that it has been approved by the US Department of Education to offer Title IV federal financial aid to qualified students

Oregon (I-Newswire) October 11, 2012 - American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) announced that it has been approved by the US Department of Education to offer Title IV federal financial aid to qualified students in ACHS’s online Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine degree program. This includes Pell Grants, the American Opportunity Credit, the Lifetime Learning Credit and eligibility for student loan deferment, which are all available to qualifying enrolled students.

“Being able to offer Title IV federal financial aid to our students is an important achievement for ACHS. The availability of the additional grant will enable students who were not able to otherwise enroll at ACHS to apply for admission and build the skills they need to begin or advance their careers in holistic health by studying complementary alternative medicine (CAM),” stated Dorene Petersen, President and CEO of ACHS.
