Chicago, IL, April 2, 2010 - AMB, a premier provider of information governance tools and solutions, has successfully launched their first community edition as an open source offering. Starting March 30th, as originally scheduled, the community edition is available for download from sourceforge.net and AMB's website ambpdm.com.
AMB plans to extend their open source solutions to encompass other areas of their suite, and may include capabilities at a future date from offerings currently provided for:
• the enrichment of indices managing unstructured content,
• the resolution of hierarchical discrepancies between
portals and data warehouses,
• real time data governance,
• MDM discovery and
• the flagship MDM on a Shoestring offering.
