To celebrate their first successful year since a company relaunch ALT Recording Studios have decided to give away a selection of free drum samples available as a download on their website.

(I-Newswire) December 10, 2009 - The drum loops are available as a download on their website. The drum loops are royalty free drum loops samples recorded and mixed at ALT Recording Studios, Studio A. Drummed by: George Stockton. Engineered by: Jaroslavas Bobrovas. Mixed and looped by: Stephen Smith.

You can listen to demos of the drum loops with an mp3 player on the above link. There are 4 drum loop packs that can be downloaded in various bpm and sample rates. More loops will be available soon. Their aim is to build up a database of free loops of real instruments and voices all recorded at ALT Recording Studios. All available free as download packs to music producers. All loops recorded at 48khz and in 24bit in wav format using pro tools HD2, using a variety of vintage and digital equipment. All loops are EQ’d but without any other effects allowing you to process as you wish.

Stephen Smith says ‘There a real gap in the market for dry loops of real instruments that people can actually use in their own productions. We often record loops for things so we though why not give them away for free.’

ALT Recording Studios in Brighton have the environment and facilities to cover all aspects of recording from recording and mixing, post production (with an audio visual suite), HD mastering, sound design and composition to voice over and audio book recording. At the heart of the recording studios is a Pro tools HD 2 system (x2) with C24 control surfaces together with an Allen and Heath 32:8:2 analogue desk for analogue mixing. They provide a mixture of classic, analogue audio equipment and cutting-edge digital technology.
