ALT Asteria MR16 Wins 2011 Red Dot Product Design Award

After winning M Technology and iF Design Award, ALT, once again, is recognized by international design institution through excellent quality and stability design. Established in 1955, Germany Red Dot Design Award is one of the most honorable design awards in the world, paralleled with Germany iF Award, M Technology Award, American IDEA Award, and Japanese Good Design Award. This year, there are more than 60 countries and 4000 works to participate this award. All candidate works have to pass the most strict selection process. The evaluation criteria are including creativity, function, ergonomics, eco-awareness, safety, and brand value. All criteria have to be top class in the world and to fulfill consumers’ high standard requirement in order to win this prize.

Besides, ALT applied aerospace cutting-edge heat-dissipation technology and unique heat fin design, with quality and art-sense. The red dot design award dates back to 1955 and is now the world’s largest and most distinguished design competition. It breaks down into the three disciplines “red dot award: product design”, “red dot award: communication design” and “red dot award: design concept”.
