Allyn International Services, Inc. Participates in International Wind Energy Forum

Allyn International Services, Inc., a global consulting firm, was chosen to present at the annual European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) on the topic of packaging design and reverse logistics management. EWEC was held in Warsaw, Poland in April.

Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) was chosen as a presenter at the 2010 European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) held in mid-April. Presentation topics and summaries were reviewed by EWEC and Allyn's topic - Wind Energy Packaging Design and Reverse Logistics Management - was accepted for the event in the "supply chain" category.

Along with the presentation, a white paper was submitted and published in the conference proceedings. Allyn created a poster, illustrating key points from their presentation, which was on display during the conference. Matthew Paul, Allyn supply chain consultant, and Michael Smyers, Allyn sourcing & business development manager, co-authored the white paper. Petr Naceradsky, Allyn European operations manager traveled to the conference, held in Warsaw, Poland, to give the presentation.

Allyn has first hand experience with wind energy transportation and reverse logistics. Since 2003, they have managed the delivery of over 3,050 complete wind turbine generators globally. In addition, Allyn has assisted customers with the design and implementation of wind turbine component packaging as well as reverse logistics management programs.

EWEC, organized by the European Wind Energy Association, is Europe's largest combined wind energy conference and exhibition bringing together business leaders, policy makers and stakeholders from all over Europe to debate key developments in the wind industry. EWEC 2010 was a four-day event and boasted over 3,000 participants and 220 exhibitors.
