Alliance University Encourages Student Participation in Social Initiatives

Interactive Session between Student Volunteers and Youth for Seva took place in Alliance University and now we are very proud to be the part of this event which encouraged us even more now to participate in activities like that.

Bangalore (I-Newswire) October 23, 2012 - Alliance University recently hosted an interactive session between student-volunteers and Youth for Seva—a Bangalore-based NGO that facilitates opportunities for youth who seek to take an active part in community development and social initiatives.

The event, held at Alliance Ascent College, Alliance University, was organized by the CSR Department of Alliance University, where experts from the social sector were invited to interact with students on the significance of developing into exemplary social citizens by building on their passion for volunteering talents and skills towards community development. The event also encouraged students to involve themselves in social empowerment by engaging with educational schools, government hospitals and other voluntary organizations in the social sector.
