Online, July 23, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Clements Chevrolet Cadillac Subaru is excited to announce the upcoming arrival of the all-new 2013 Subaru BRZ. The BRZ will be produced in extremely limited quantities. It is designed to be easy to handle, yet exciting to drive. It has the lowest center of gravity in its class, which gives it optimal balance and handling.
The Subaru BRZ comes equipped with 2.0-liter, 4-cyclinder, 200 horsepower, Subaru BOXER engine. Because of the BOXER engine's vertical drivetrain layout, engineers were able to place it lower and further back in the car, lowering the car's center of gravity. The transmission is either a close-ratio 6-speed manual or optional adaptive 6-speed automatic. Standard features include rear-wheel drive, HID headlights, and a sport-tuned suspension with double wishbone rear architecture.
The 2013 Subaru BRZ will be available in Premium and Limited models. The Premium model is outfitted with cloth upholstery, a voice-activated navigation system, HD Radio with iTunes tagging capabilities, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. The Limited model adds leather upholstery, keyless access and start, automatic climate control, heated front seats, fog lights, and a rear spoiler.
Toshio Masuda, senior project manager and deputy general manager of Subaru Product Planning Division, said, "We fine-tuned each performance element of the prototype in road tests around the world."
