The 2012/2013 Year of Study opens with a good news for Scuola Italiana Design and Scientific & Technological Park Galileo: the signing of a cooperation agreement with Kielce Technology Park (Poland).

On Thursday, September 6th, the two delagates of the Polish Park arrived in Italy: Simon Mazurkiewicz, general manager, and Joanna Rudawska, project manager for the European project CentraLab of Kielce PT. The two guests participated in a presentation of the PST Galileo and its departments MaTech and Scuola Italiana Design, followed by a visit to Padua and its precious artistic-cultural monuments.

Friday 7th opened with a presentation by Mazurkiewicz and Rudawska of the project CentraLab to an audience composed by our students too. CentraLab provides dor cooperation between technological parks, research institutions and European universities, in order to develop project in several areas, including health 2.0, agriculture, mass media, tourism... As regards the design, the contribution of Scuola Italiana Design may become important.

After that there was the awaited time of the signature: it's an agreement between PST Galileo (Scuola Italiana Design and MaTech) and Kielce TP which provides the beginning of an interesting cooperation between our two parks: it's the first step of working together on getting our two countries and realities closer for both companies/professionals and students/young people.

At the signing ceremony the Second Secretary of Republic of Poland Embassy, Monika Wicinska, was also present. She proved to be very interested in the emerging relationships between PST Galileo and Kielce TP.

What about now? SID will return the visit very soon, we'll be in Poland next October!
