Advocate Health Care Selects Digisonics for Structured Reporting and Image Management

HOUSTON (I-Newswire) February 16, 2011 - Advocate Health Care system in greater Chicago, Ill., which performed more than 40,000 OB/GYN studies in 2010, selected the Digisonics OB-View Net software for five facilities to streamline their workflow with the web-based, structured and image analysis system.

Users will eliminate both dictation and human input error as well as decrease turnaround times with the auto-population of patient biometry from each of the facilities’ multi-vendor ultrasound systems. The Digisonics DICOM Gateway will ensure smooth data throughput and the Digisonics Search module will be implemented to provide comprehensive and configurable data mining based on any field or combination of fields within the system. A Database Query Tool will auto-populate accreditation and staffing reports. Clinicians will also be able to utilize the Rolodex software to automatically send finalized reports to referring physicians via fax and email.
