Courtyard by Marriott organizes “Sham-E-Ghazal” a Live performance at Shakahari - the pure vegetarian speciality restaurant

Ahmedabad, Gujarat (I-Newswire) August 9, 2012 - The diners at the Courtyard by Marriott would be treated to a musical feat of Ghazals – the Indian musical form that relaxes the mind and body, both, now, every evening at Shakahari – the culinary mosaic of Indian Flavour effective August 1, 2012.

The Courtyard by Marriott brings this cultural feast of a rich lineage to the citizens of Ahmedabad - the heritage city of India with a combination of performances of all type of Ghazals viz filmy, non-filmy, classical, fusion, folk and as on demand. The LIVE GHAZAL performance now at Shakahari will be presented by the Khan duo of Mr. Sohail Khan, the young Ghazal singer and the veteran Tabla artist, Mr. Shahbaz Khan who have trained under Ustad Moinuddin Khan, the famous Sarangi player and Member, Jury of Music in India. Ustad Moinuddin Khan, who shares a legacy of six children skilled with Sitar, Tabla, Sarangi and Ghazal singing has also been attached to the All India Radio and Kadamb School of Dance for over 22 years.
