Actor/Auth​or Paul Carafotes & World Skating Champ Tai Babilonia Meet Sweet! Hollywood

Online, December 12, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Actor/Author Paul Carafotes is teaming up with World and National figure skating champ, Tai Bablilonia, for a Red Carpet, Star Studded event at Sweet! Hollywood tomorrow Saturday, Dec. 14th at 1pm. A portion of all sales from this event will benefit the Reach Out and Read program of Los Angeles.

Paul is launching the second book in his children's series "Charlie Bubbles 2 Smartsville!". The book is being dedicated to Liliana Gandolfini (daughter of the late James Gandolfini and very close friend of Paul). Liliana and her mom, Deborah, will be in attendance for the dedication along with many other Hollywood Celebrities such as Steven R. McQueen, David Caruso, Kevin Dobson, Chris MacDonald and E. G. Daily.

Paul has introduced a new character in his book series "Tai the Butterfly" in homage to his friend Tai Babilonia. She will be at the event to help with a book reading to the guests and also to showcase her candy line "Tai Treats".
Paul Carafotes has been an award winning actor/ writer/ director for more than 30 years. He has appeared in many films and television productions. including a series regular on the very popular nighttime soap, Knots Landing most recently on the critically acclaimed show Damages. He has starred alongside the likes of Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini and many other notable actors. He added writing to his resume by winning best writer for his play "Beyond The Ring" about the relationship between a father and son. He made his debut as film director for the film he wrote called "Club Soda" which has won Best short film awards for writing/ producing/directing.
