Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. Donates Moving Services to the RANWC Foundation’s Helping Our Heroes

San Diego (I-Newswire) October 20, 2010 - Ace Relocation Systems, Inc., a comprehensive relocation solutions company throughout the U.S., donated its services to the REALTOR® Association of Northwest Chicagoland Charitable Foundation's Helping Our Heroes, this month.

Helping Our Heroes is a program sponsored by the RANWC Charitable Foundation dedicated to raising money to help active duty Illinois Military Personnel, Veterans, Fire Fighters, and Police Officers with residential-related expenses due to their financial distress.

In this circumstance, the Nestlé coffee samples were sent overseas to military troops and allocated to local food pantries throughout the Chicago area.


As a member of the RANWC, an Illinois-based organization, ACE’s Chicago office was contacted by the Charitable Foundation about the move and agreed to donate its services for the two-day project at nominal cost.

"When we first contracted the move, the Ace team was told it would be moving about 325 cases of Nestlé coffee samples; so we sent out a straight truck to complete the move," said David Noffs, General Manager in Ace’s Chicago office. “325 cases soon became more than 1,000 and we ended up sending a tractor-trailer out to finish the job the following day.”

Supplying the Nestlé coffee samples was StartSampling, Inc., a company that actively manages an entire sampling program including creative, web design, fulfillment, program reporting, and data delivery.

“It’s extremely gratifying to see companies and organizations that provide such different goods and services working together to achieve an overall goal,” said Noffs. “It was a great project that Ace is proud to have been a part of.” 

Ace picked up the goods from the StartSampling warehouse and drove them an estimated 40 miles to the RANWC; the final destination before the cases were mailed out and delivered by volunteers.

The majority of Ace’s nine branches, including its Chicago office, are IOMI certified office & industrial movers.
