With portal technology, abas Business Software provides an integration platform which makes it possible to bundle information from various sources and systems in one view. Based on roles, each user has a workstation tailored to their individual requirements. ERP data as well as data from third-party systems, or other Internet or intranet information, can be accessed.
These data can then be combined and displayed as tables or charts, for example. Various applications can then be accessed easily from the information shown in the portal. Using the CRM portal integrated into abas Business Software, all important processes for a customer or prospective customer are visible. Starting with the tasks and notes of outstanding processes, up to archived documents - everything is accessible. Using links, further actions can be executed, for example, editing or creating new tasks/notes or viewing documents from the DMS.
The start page of the sales portal provides an overview of key performance indicators and the current sales order situation. On the process page, the salesperson can analyze the role-based processes assigned to him and execute further actions, such as the transfer of documents to the DMS, creation of a packing slip or an invoice.
Similar to sales, the purchaser can get a general overview right from the start page. On the processes page he can analyze role-based processes assigned to him and execute further actions. In addition, the purchase order suggestions of the products which he handles can be edited here.
Active work orders and work order suggestions can be edited using the production portal. The employee can see the due dates and the material and capacity situation, and can trigger further actions, such as completion confirmations or changes to production lists or machine occupation and scheduling.
A service number gives the service employee a quick overview of specific service processes. A customer-related view, which displays all running service processes, is also possible. The service employee can intervene at any time and execute actions, starting from planning the service assignments to repair processing to triggering the invoicing.
Using the BI dashboard in the portal, different data from Palo (BI database) is visible. Different data views can be set using the selection boxes.

Two categories of evaluations can be created using the web interface by Palo-BI. Standardized reports of previously defined key figures can be created at the press of a button. It is also possible to select the dimensions for individual evaluations. Therefore, it is simple to "browse" the available data.
