The U.S. expects that over 33 million Americans will be traveling during this time to the many festivals and events throughout the country, making it one of the busiest holidays of this year and of recent years.

Labor Day has a history which dates back to 1882 in the United States. Meant to celebrate workers and the contributions made by those workers, today it has become the signal of more than this. Labor Day has become the sign of the end of summer, the last big fun weekend before the kids go back to school and the temperatures drop. The U.S. expects that over 33 million Americans will be traveling during this time to the many festivals and events throughout the country, making it one of the busiest holidays of this year and in recent years.

As this weekend nears, cities across America are gearing up for this one last event before fall. Of all the events taking place throughout the country, the big cities such as Detroit, New York, Chicago and Denver are planning events that will take place throughout the weekend and ending on September 3rd.
