In the past, low-light transmission marine touchscreens have prevented touch monitors from being used on outboard decks due to poor sunlight readability. Not only is direct-sunlight viewing essential in these marine environments, but also larger displays with multi-touch capabilities.

Recent advances in touch-screen technology have changed all that.

InsyncMarine, located at Laguna Hills, CA, is taking its military expertise in marine ruggedized direct-sunlight viewing monitors and computers to meet that challenge. It has developed The Admiral (TM) series and its own line of marine direct-sunlight viewing touch monitors and computers to serve OEM customers in the US and overseas.
