San Antonio, TX (I-Newswire) September 30, 2011 - Beginning April 5, 2012, the National Hip Hop Competition will travel across to 23 major cities in the United States seeking out the best rap artists and hip hop producers to compete in their city in freestyle and beat production battles. This is an annual event that gives local producers and artists an opportunity to shine and be discovered by hip hop lovers.

This is also a great opportunity for those who compete as they have a chance to be chosen as the winner of the competition by our judges which they have entered, either the freestyle or the beat battle. The chosen individuals will then move on to the final rounds which will be taking place in the last stop of the 2012 tour- Las Vegas, NV. Winners of the finals will be named the National Hip Hop Competition Champion of 2012 and receive up to $15,000 in cash and prizes as well as the recognition of hip hop fans in their city.

We are encouraging all local rap artists and music producers to come out and show their city what the true meaning of hip hop is. Originality, good music, and a real love for hip hop is strongly encouraged among competitors. Registration for the competition is NOW OPEN and tickets are available! On stage or in the crowd, we will see you there!
