Elephants on the Wall was created by award-winning designer Patti Newton in 2005. For years she worked as a designer for Walt Disney Imagineering and as an instructor at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Elephants on the Wall was launched after visiting her family in Hawaii, where she began working on a wall mural for her grandchildren.
