HERNON Manufacturing Receives Approval for Multiple Products by Haas Group International

Hernon adhesives meet or exceed the requirements of the Israeli civil and military aviation industry.

Sanford, FL (I-Newswire) January 6, 2011 - HERNON Manufacturing, the innovator in adhesive and sealing technologies has confirmed that it was advised in late December 2010 that eight of its products have been approved by Haas TCM for sale to the Israeli civil and military aviation sector.

The approved products include:

EF Primer 46: General purpose monomer based primer used as a surface preparation agent for adhesives and sealants. This primer provides the necessary chemistry to accelerate fixture, cure time, clean part surfaces, promote gap fill ability, and assure predictability of cure on inactive and inert surfaces.

EF Primer 49: Acetone based primer for inert metals and surfaces. Like the EF Primer 46, this primer provides the necessary chemistry to accelerate fixture, cure time, clean part surfaces, promote gap fill ability, and assure predictability of cure on inactive and inert surfaces.

Nuts N’ Bolts 240: A single-component anaerobic adhesive designed for use on assemblies with threaded fasteners. This product will replace lock washers, helps to prevent vibration and loosening of parts and seal against leakage and internal corrosion. This product is a MIL-Spec qualified product (MIL-S-22473E, GRD E).

Nuts N’ Bolts 423 & 431: The Nuts N’ Bolts 400 series are advanced chemistry anaerobic adhesives designed for use on assemblies with threaded fasteners. They are single-component 100% active liquids that cure when air is omitted during surface mating. Like the 200 series, the 400 series will replace lock washers, helps to prevent vibration and loosening of parts and seal against leakage and internal corrosion.

Cylinlock 824 & 846: Cylinlock is a high performance, single component, 100% active anaerobic retaining compound developed for bonding fitted cylindrical parts. Upon cure, Cylinlock forms a tough plastic bond that offers high strength, superior heat, and chemical resistance. Cylinlock 824 is a MIL-Spec qualified product (MIL-R-46082B, TY 1, and ASTM D5363 AN0411).
