Bencardino Excavating Celebrates 25 Years in Business in 2013
Louis A. Bencardino and Bencardino Excavating Marks a Quarter Century in Business in the Delaware Valley
Philadelphia, PA (I-Newswire) January 15, 2013 - Bencardino Excavating (www.bencardino.com), a full-service excavation company located in Bucks County, Pa., observes 25 years in business in 2013. From a humble beginning with one backhoe and business owner Lou Bencardino as its only employee to a fleet of earth-moving machines and almost 50 employees, Bencardino Excavating has been a premier excavation contractor for jobs big and small across Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Starting the business in 1988, Louis Bencardino worked out of a family residence until the business was profitable enough to purchase a small plot of land. The company relocated in 1995 to its current site on Wells Drive in Bensalem. At first, the facility was made up of a small building with a make-shift office. The company then purchased additional acreage next to the original plot allowing for the expansion of a small complex where machinery is stored and maintained and where the hub of the Bencardino business office resides today.
“These last 25 years have provided some great experiences and we are proud of what we’ve built here,” said Louis A. Bencardino. “My crew and I look forward to the next 25 years as we continue to grow this business and move dirt for many years to come.”
Bencardino Excavating was founded in 1988 by Lou Bencardino, and serves clients in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey including Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware, Camden, Mercer and Gloucester Counties. Bencardino Excavating has worked with airports, helipads, schools, banks, corporate facilities and more in a wide array of industries including commercial and residential development, pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, utilities, education and retail.
