Promotion of SinoCorrugated 2013 in India Proves Highly Successful

Between December 7 and December 13, 2012, members of Reed Exhibitions’ SinoCorrugated 2013 Team traveled to the Asian subcontinent to promote their event.

Shanghai (I-Newswire) January 14, 2013 - Reed Exhibitions’ SinoCorrugated 2013 Team traveled to the Asian subcontinent to promote their event. The delegation used the time in India to attend a local packaging show in New Delhi and to visit the Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India (FCBM) in Mumbai. The aim of the visit was to raise the profile of SinoCorrugated events to the Indian market.

The SinoCorrugated Team set up a booth at the India Packaging Show held in New Delhi from 7-10. The stand attracted widespread attention from visitors and over 200 Indian packaging industry professionals signed up to visit SinoCorrugated 2013.

Subsequently, the representatives of the Chinese show travelled to Mumbai to attend the annual meeting of the FCBM of India, the country’s largest corrugated industry association.

At the meeting, R.R. Ankola, President of the FCBM, pledged the association’s continued support to SinoCorrugated. Mr. Ankola stated that the FCBM would actively mobilize its members to take part in SinoCorrugated 2013. About 300 senior executives from Indian corrugated box manufacturing companies made direct inquiries into visiting SinoCorrugated 2013 at the meeting.

Several of the executives stated that they were regular attendees to SinoCorrugated and that they dedicated their attention to the event because it allowed them to evaluate, first-hand, over 1,300 pieces of the world’s top corrugated manufacturing equipment. This is something that sets SinoCorrugated apart from other shows of its kind. The executives further stated that, for Indian companies keen to find new partners and learn the latest market information, SinoCorrugated was a priority.

The SinoCorrugated organizers also met with a number of local partner travel agencies which will work with Reed to design itineraries for Indian corrugated manufacturers traveling to Shanghai for SinoCorrugated 2013.

SinoCorrugated 2013 will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the global corrugated paperboard industry’s biggest commercial platform, the show will bring together the world’s top suppliers, buyers and industry professionals.
